Production habits: can you ship clean, tested, documented code and explain your choices "as if already on the team"? Stripe, Datadog, Intuit, S&P Global, and WBD use take-homes or craft demos; data quality and monitoring (not just the happy path) are what separate passes from fails.

• Treat it as production: unit tests, a README, clear structure, and formatting.
• Handle malformed input, nested JSON, and idempotent re-runs.
• Add data-quality checks and a short note on monitoring/alerting.
• Prepare to walk through trade-offs and what you would do with more time.

• No tests, no docs, or unreadable "clever" code.
• Only the happy path — no data-quality or failure handling.
• Cannot justify design decisions in the follow-up review.
