Terms of Service

D8Loop is a learning and interview-practice product for data engineers. It is delivered entirely through the web app at d8loop.com — there is nothing physical, and nothing is shipped. Using the service means you accept these terms.

You sign in with Google or LinkedIn; we never see or store a password. An account is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under yours, and for keeping access to the email address it is tied to.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live if that is higher.

• The Free plan costs nothing and does not expire.
• Pro is $19 USD per month. Annual is $149 USD per year.
• Prices are in US dollars for everyone. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate and may add its own fee — that conversion is between you and your bank.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancelling is done in the product, on your profile page, and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record and are therefore the seller for your purchase. They handle the transaction and any sales tax or VAT due where you are, which is why their name appears on your statement and on your receipt. Card details go to them and never reach us.

We may change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price for the period already paid for, and we will tell you by email before a change affects a renewal.

The service is yours to learn with. It is not yours to redistribute.

• Do not share an account, or resell or republish the content.
• Do not scrape or bulk-download the material, or use it to train a model or build a competing product.
• Do not attempt to break out of the code sandboxes, disrupt the service for others, or probe it for vulnerabilities without asking us first — if you find something, write to support@d8loop.com and we will be glad you did.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to submit.

The chapters, exercises, scenarios, diagrams and software are ours, and remain so. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them while your account is active.

What you write — models, queries, code, answers — stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it for the purpose of running the service: saving your progress, and producing the reviews and feedback you asked for. Nothing more.

Design reviews, scores and interview probes are produced with the help of AI, and are educational feedback rather than fact. They can be wrong, and they are not a prediction of how any real interview will go, nor career, employment or professional advice. Please read them as one informed opinion.

We work to keep the service up but do not promise a particular level of uptime. Parts of the product are actively being built and may change, move or be withdrawn. If we retire something you paid for, you can have a refund of the unused part of your period.

You can stop at any time: cancel your subscription from your profile, and stop using the service. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we are legally required to act on. If we close your account without you having broken anything, we refund the unused part of your period.

The service is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and which cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or opportunities. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here removes a consumer right you have where you live.

We will update this page when the terms change and revise the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction — without affecting any protection you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
